#VoicesofJAF – December 13th – Joshua Williams

“I believe that helping out in the community is my purpose and passion in life. And I will continue doing this until I die.” -Joshua Williams
Joshua’s Heart is a small group of people with a big dream – to end world hunger. There are over 49 million people in the U.S. alone struggling to put food on the table for their families. Although food insecurity is harmful to any individual, it can be particularly devastating for children. Good nutrition at an early age is important for future physical and mental health. One in 5 children go to bed hungry. Joshua believes with the help of people just like you, we can fight hunger and end the cycle of poverty.
We met Joshua in 2014 when he won the Hunger & Poverty category of LEAD360. Joshua went on to become a JAF GlobeChanger. He founded his organization, Joshua’s Heart at age four and a half – yes 4.5! Through Joshua’s Heart, he has donated over 1 million pounds of food to those in need and raised over $450,000.
Help us support more young social entrepreneurs like Joshua and ensure that the future isn’t hungry!
