“I want to be able to help teach my peers in the community that we can actually be better than what we are and try to give back ourselves. I like to teach community service and I also like to be active with community service.” – Amoz Wright

The Thornton Township High School District 205 Student Board of Education prides itself on the spirit of community service. Their mission is to promote service-leadership with excellence, respect, and pride; they have taken an aggressive posture to provide substantive opportunities for students. Thornton will continue to build upon their strong traditions of leadership, service, and philanthropy.

Help JAF tell more stories of community service across America.
